The short version: we collect as little as possible, we use it only to run the product, and we never sell it.

What we collect

The free tools run without an account — we don't require a login to check status codes, redirects, broken links, or SSL expiry. When you create an account to use monitors, we store your email address (used to send the magic link that signs you in) and the URLs you choose to monitor. We log basic technical request data (timestamps, status codes returned by the sites you check) to make the product work and stop abuse.

Why we collect it

Your email is the key to your account and the channel for sign-in links and downtime alerts. The URLs you save are what we schedule and watch on your behalf. We don't build advertising profiles, and we don't enrich your data with third-party sources.

Where it's stored

Account data, sessions, and monitor configuration are stored with Supabase, our managed Postgres and authentication provider. Access is restricted to the running application and the people who operate it.

Cookies

We use cookies strictly for authentication— keeping you signed in after you click a magic link. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The free tools set no login cookies at all.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We don't share the list of sites you monitor with anyone, and we don't use your data to train models.

Payment data

When paid plans go live, billing will be handled by a dedicated payment processor. Card details are entered with the processor and never touch Sitewell's servers — we only receive your subscription status.

Your choices

You can delete a monitor at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us. Removing your account removes your stored email and monitor configuration.
